7.3 Limiting the signal pressure
If the maximum actuator force may cause damage to the valve, the signal pressure must be
limited.
Î Do not activate pressure limitation for double-acting actuators (AIR TO OPEN (AtO) fail-
safe position). Default setting is 'No'.
Enablecongurationatthepositionerbeforelimitingthesignalpressure.
Enable conguration:
Congurationislockedagainifnosettingsareenteredwithin120seconds.
1. Turn untilCode3appears(reading:
No).
2. Press , the code number 3 blinks.
3. Turn until YES appears.

1. Turn untilCode16appears.
2. Press , the code number 16 blinks.
3. Turn until the required pressure limit
(1.4/2.4/3.7bar)appears.

7.4 Checking the operating range of the positioner
To check the mechanical attachment and the proper functioning, the valve should be moved
through the operating range of the positioner in the manual mode with the manual set
point.
