11.1 Emergency action
The valve, on which the electric actuator with fail-safe action is mounted, is moved to its fail-
safepositionuponsupplyvoltagefailure(seesection3.1).
The plant operator is responsible for emergency action to be taken in the plant.
Emergency action in the event of valve failure is described in the associated valve documen-
tation.
