RECoRD A TV pRoGRAM
Three ways to record a TV program:
1. Record the TV program you are watching.
2. Program the recording of a TV show via the Program Guide.
3. Manually record content within a specified time slot.
Recording the TV program you are watching
If you have been watching the TV program from the beginning, press at any time during its
broadcast, and it will be recorded from the moment you started watching it.
1. Press . The HD PVR will display the choices available to you.
2. If you are watching a series:
i. Select Record this Episode to record only the episode you are watching.
ii. Select Record Series to record the TV show you are watching every time it airs, no
matter what day or time slot.
3. If you are watching a TV program:
i. Select Record Once to record only the TV show you are watching.
ii. Select Repeat Recording to record the TV show you are watching every time it airs.
4. To modify the recording criteria mentioned above, press and select one of the following
options:
a. Repeat (or not) the recording.
b. Establish the recording frequency.
c. Establish how long you’d like the recording(s) to be stored for.

storage period, refer to the Manage Your Recordings section on page 34.
