Learning About Video Cassette Tapes
Choosing the Proper Tapes
Use only video cassette tapes marked VHS with this VCR. Choose good qtlality tapes for
best rest fits.
Caring for Video Cassette Tages
Kee t) the tapes away fl'om dilect sunlight heat or extreme cold.
Insert tapes with the wirKtow skte up and the arrow pointing away f'uom you.
Do not stlbject tapes to violent viblatioHs or shocks.
Never try to take apalt or splice a video tape.
Do not open the cassette, touch the tape, or put anything inside the video tape

Choosing the Correct Recording Speed
Your VCR is equipped with vasable tape speed. You car] play or record a tape at:
* SP (StandaHt Play) tile fastest speed,
* SLP (Super Lon8 Phy) the slowest speed.
