Closing an application
Running multiple applications at the same time can slow down
the performance of some applications or consume the battery
power fast. Close applications not in use to save battery power
and maintain performance.

Move the cursor to the top of the application screen until the
cursor changes to a hand shape.

Click and hold the hand shape and drag it to the bottom of
the screen.

Opening or closing applications
On the
Start
screen, select an application icon to open it.

Touchpad

Mouse
: Select at the lower-left edge of the
desktop to view all applications.

Touch screen
: Swipe upwards on the touch screen.
