Setting the Parental Password

Press MENU, use 3or4to select Setup menu, press 6to access.
Select Parental Controls item, then press ENTER to access. Now a
password is required to input.

Parental Control enables parents to prevent their children from watching inappropriate material on TV. Parental Control reads
the ratings for programming (except for news, sports, unedited movies on premium cable and Emergency System signals ),
then denies access to programming if the program's rating meets the limitations you select. In this case, the program will be
blocked.
To access
any blocked channels, the password is also required.
Before you block channels, you need to set a password. The password controls access to the parental control system.

Press 0 – 9 number buttons to input the password(4-digit, the default
password is 0000 and you should change it). Now Parental Controls
menu is opened.

Highlight Change Password item, then press ENTER.

Enter the old password using 0 – 9 buttons.

Enter the same password again to confirm.
Now the new password has been created successfully.
! To avoid forgetting the password, write it down and keep it in the safe place.
! There is a super password (9999) provided for you to access the Parental
Controls menu or access the blocked channel. Make sure to not let
children know the super password.
Note:

Use password to access Setup-Parental Controls menu.
To enable the blocking scheme you set up, you should set to ON.
To disable the blocking scheme you set up, please set it to OFF.

Select System Lock item, then press 3or4to select On or Off.
Enter the new password using 0 – 9 buttons.

Select Button Lock item, then press 3or4to select On (to turn the
Button Lock on) or Off (to turn the Button Lock off).
Turning the Button Lock On or Off
With the Button Lock on, the buttons on the TV control panel are locked. The
message “Use remote to enable button” will appear every time you press a
button on the TV control panel. Unplug your TV, then reconnect it to turn the
Button Lock off.
