System Settings
Parameter Setting Values Explanation
Protocol QAPP direct Enables data entry and output to a data processing program via
aQAPP direct connection. Only the special QAPPs, which are
started by a task, can use the interface for their purposes of input
and output.
miniSICS Enables miniSICS communication. The data is output to a PC or
control unit. Enables the use of commands from a PC to control
the basic balance functions with the miniSICS protocol.

On Activates the automatic data recording for this interface
(onlyactivate for test purposes).
Off* Deactivates the automatic data recording for this interface.
Baud rate 600 baud Sets the baud rate to 600baud.
1200 baud Sets the baud rate to 1200baud.
2400 baud Sets the baud rate to 2400baud.
4800 baud Sets the baud rate to 4800baud.
9600 baud* Sets the baud rate to 9600baud.
19200 baud Sets the baud rate to 19200baud.
38400 baud Sets the baud rate to 38400baud.
57600 baud Sets the baud rate to 57600baud.
115200 baud Sets the baud rate to 115200baud.
Data bits 7 data bits Sets the number of data bits to 7.
8 data bits* Sets the number of data bits to 8.
Stop bits 1 stop bit* Sets the number of stop bits to 1.
2 stop bits Sets the number of stop bits to 2.
Parity None Does not apply a parity.
Even Applies an even parity.
Odd* Applies an odd parity.
Handshake Software Sets the handshake protocol to software handshake.
Hardware* Sets the handshake protocol to hardware handshake.
None Does not set a handshake protocol.
