Notes on Memory Cards
• The structure under the folder [PR61] can be created by formatting an SD card or USB memory in the
memory card mode.
Be sure to format the SD card or USB memory in the memory card mode. Formatting the SD card or USB
memory using Windows may result in data save failure or data reference failure.
• Do not change the file name or folder name under the [PR61] folder.
• Do not save files other than released (or uploaded) firmware or fonts in the [PROG] and [FONT] folder.
When other than released (or uploaded) files are saved in the [PROG] or [FONT] folder, the printer behavior
of downloading or after downloading, may be incorrect.
• Do not remove the SD card or USB memory while the printer is accessing to it. The data inside the SD card
or USB memory may be damaged.
• When a data is saved to an SD card or USB memory by using registration SBPL commands, the date of file
creation is according to the calendar when a calendar IC is installed. When the calendar IC is not installed,
it is the firmware release date.
• Make sure that the printer is powered off before inserting or removing the SD card or USB memory.
Otherwise, the printer may not read or write the data properly.
• Use only an SD card or USB memory that is formatted by FAT16/FAT32.
