1. Empty the fuel tank (11) with a fuel extraction pump
(not included in the scope of delivery) before remov-

side or forwards with a full fuel or oil tank! This will
damage the engine and void the warranty.
2. Hold the blade (27) tightly with one hand.
3. Turn the blade screw (28) anti-clockwise using an
open-end wrench AF17 (not included in the scope
of delivery) from the engine spindle (30). Remove
the washer (29).
4. Re-install the new blade (27) in reverse order. Fas-
ten the blade screw (28) properly. Make sure that
the blade (27) is correctly positioned and flush
against the engine spindle (30).
5. The tightening torque of the blade screw (28) is
45Nm. Also replace the blade screw (28) when re-
placing the blade (27).
15.1.1 Damaged blades(27)
Should the blade (27) come into contact with an ob-
struction, shut down the engine immediately and re-
move the spark plug connector (16)
Check the blade (27) for damage.
Damaged or bent blades (27) must be replaced.
Never attempt to bend a bent blade (27) back to
straight again.
Never mow the lawn with a bent or heavily worn
blade (27) as this will cause vibrations and can lead
to further damage to the lawnmower.
15.2 Checking the oil level (Fig.9)
WARNING

ATTENTION
Environmental damage!
Spilled oil can pollute the environment permanently.
The liquid is highly toxic and can quickly lead to water
pollution.
Fill/empty oil only on level, paved surfaces.
Use a filling nozzle or funnel.
Collect drained oil in a suitable container.
Wipe up spilled oil carefully immediately and dis-

3. Re-insert the oil dipstick (18) and check the oil level
without screwing the dipstick tight again.
4. Pull the oil dipstick (18) out and read the oil level in
the horizontal position. The oil level must be posi-
tioned between the max. and min. of the oil dipstick
(18).
5. Then screw the oil dipstick (18) in again.
15.3 Oil change
The engine oil change should be completed annually
before the start of the season while the engine is at op-

and the hose to suck out the engine oil through the
filling nozzle.
4. Fill up with fresh engine oil and check the oil level
(see 9.1.).
15.4 Drain fuel with a fuel extraction
pump (Fig. 19)
1. Hold a collection container under the hose of the fu-

cluded in the scope of delivery) under the carburet-
tor and open the carburettor screw (31) with the aid
of an open-end wrench AF10 (not included in the
