5.3.2 Adjustment of the central position (Variant M)
Adjustment of the central position
Ø Depressurize connections A and B.
Ø Apply air pressure to connection C.
Ø Loosen the lock nuts (54) of the stop spindles (25).
Ø Unscrew stop A2 as far as possible.
Ø Turn the pinion clockwise and keep it pressed against stop A1.
Ø Turn stop A1 until the desired central position has been
reached.
Ø Turn stop A2 until there is no more play in the pinion in the
central position.
Ø Retighten the lock nuts (54) of the stop spindles (25).
Ø Rotate several times to check the correct setting of the central
position.
