8.3 Lubricants/Lubrication points (basic lubrication)
SCHUNK recommends the lubricants listed.
During maintenance, treat all greased areas with lubricant. Thinly
apply lubricant with a lint-free cloth.

8.4.1 Dismantle product

WARNING
Risk of injury when machine/system moves unexpectedly!
• Switch off power supply before assembly and installation.
• Make sure that no residual energy remains in the system.
Ø Remove the compressed air hoses.
Ø Unscrew the screws (34) and remove the cover 1 (3).
Ø Unscrew the screws (60) and remove the cover 2 (14).
Ø Mark the installation position of the piston (2) and the pinion
(6 / 16).
Ø Version with media feed-through: Unscrew the screws (41) and
remove the cover (18).
Ø Disassemble the safety ring (33) on the pinion.
Ø Type SRU 8 and Type SRU 10: Remove the washer (7).
Ø Press the pinion (6 / 16) upward out of the housing (1).
Ø Servicing the module.
