9.3 How to Get Printer Messages via Email
You can get email notifications from the printers connected to the
print server. You can define under which circumstances the printer
will prompt a notification.
This allows up to two recipients to get information about the printer
status, printer errors (such as Paper empty), the number of pages
printed, or print jobs.
The information that can be sent depends on the connected printer
model.

Requirements
A DNS server has been configured on the print server, see:
32.
SMTP parameters are configured on the print server; see: 36.
Proceed as follows:
1. Start the Print Server Homepage.
2. Select Configuration – Notification.
3. Select Email Notification.
4. Configure the notification parameters; see: Table 12

5. Click Save to confirm.
The settings are saved.
