VCR Display Information
The tape counter and VCR mode can be shown on the screen while you are playing back a tape or watching a
broadcast on the video channel.
How to Display Indicators
1 Turn on your TV and select the video channel.
2 Press OPERATE to turn on the Unit. Mode indicators are displayed in the AUTO display screen.
3 Each time ON SCREEN is pressed, the screen changes as follows:
AUTO DISPLAY
When an operation button, number buttons, or CH ' / " is pressed, the current mode or the number of the
channel will be displayed in the upper section of the TV screen for about 3 seconds.
When you record a video signal output from this Unit on another VCR, press ON SCREEN to select Display Off. (If the
mode indicator is displayed on the screen, it is also recorded on the tape.)
VCR Front Panel Display
Each time DISPLAY on the Remote is pressed, the display changes in the following way. (However, the
following is the case when the clock time is set and displayed in the 12-hour system.)
Tape counter mode ....... The current tape position will be displayed.
Clock mode.................... The current time will be displayed.
VCR OPERATION .......... The current operation (example: PLAY, STOP) will be displayed.
The meaning of the main indicators is shown below. (This list does not include all indicators.)
Display Examples
The default time and date will not be displayed if the clock has not been set.
The Unit will return to Tape counter mode each time it is switched on.
If you are recording from this Unit to another, make sure you remove the display from the screen otherwise it will be
recorded.
