4 Use the number buttons (0 to 9) to enter a 4-digit password.
PASSWORD : 1 2 3 4
• When you have finished entering your 4-digit number,
(password verification display) appears.
If you have already set your password:
appears in step 3 above.
• Enter the numbers slowly as each number is stored separately.
• Press \ to return to the previous digit.
• If you enter the wrong number three times in succession, the normal
screen reappears.
If you forget your password, you can erase your current password by
pressing Ë STOP four times.
5 Press ENTER to confirm your password, re-enter the numbers
you entered in step 4 (using the number buttons (0 to 9)).
6 Press ENTER and then use \ or | to change the parental level.

• Level 1: for general viewing (highly restricted level that can
be viewed by anyone. Sensational scenes are cut or replaced
with other scenes.) → Level 8: for adults only (a level to be
viewed by adults only. Unrestricted view of any scene.)
The smaller the number, the greater the level of restriction.
• When “PARENTAL LEVEL” is set to “OFF”, DVD discs can be played
back regardless of the parental level.
•
On some DVDs, the parental level setting is fixed and cannot be
modified.
7 Press " to select “CODE” and then use \ or | to select the
desired country code.
Can be changed
