The
VIEWCAM
displays the remaining battery power
and recording time.

Remaining Recording lime Display
In the Camera mode, about 10 minutes before the
tape reaches its end, the tape remaining bar
indicator appears on the monitor and shows how
much time is left.
You might want to get a new tape ready at this time
From about 10 minutes to
1
minute before the tape
ends, a bar indicator is displayed. About one
minute before the tape ends, a large “THE TAPE
ENDS SOON.” display appears, which, 3 seconds
later, changes to “TAPE END” in flashing
regular-
size characters. When the tape finally reaches the
end, “CHANGE THE CASSETTE.” is displayed in
large characters for 3 seconds, and then changes to
“TAPE END” in smaller characters.
l If you want to turn off the indicator, press the
MODE DISPLAY button.
Note:
The tape remaining bar Indicator only shows approximate
time
left. This varies slightly depending on the length of
tape used.
(This function is based on the standard
P5-90
tape.)
Remaining Battery Power Display
When you turn on the
VIEWCAM,
the remaining
battery power display automatically appears. By
pressing the MODE DISPLAY button, the display can
be turned on and off.
The remaining power is displayed in five levels as
shown at left.
l If you want to turn off the indicator, press the
MODE DISPLAY button.
If the battery power is very low, a warning message
will appear. Replace the battery pack.
Notes:
l
When the
VIEWCAM
is on the
ViewCamport
unit or
connected to the DC cable, rematning battery power IS
not displayed.
l Use the remaintng battery power display only as an
indication.
l Battery consumption may vary depending on the
condition of use.
l Remaining Battery Power Display may increase or
decrease with operation of the
VIEWCAM
