During playback, press the

button.

The fast forward (or
reverse) playback picture
is displayed on the monitor.

When you find the desired scene, press the
PLAY button to return to normal playback.
Search for and Play Back a Scene
Far from the Current One
If the
VIEWCAM
is in Playback mode, press the
STOP button to stop the tape. Depending on the
direction of search, press the FF button
(0)
to
fast forward or the REW button
(0)
to rewind the
tape.
When you estimate that the tape is near the
scene you want, press and hold down the
Forward Search
(0)
(or Reverse Search
(0)
button.
l The fast forward (or reverse) playback picture
is displayed on the monitor.
If the desired scene is
stall
far from that point,
release the Forward Search (or Reverse Search)
button to return to Fast Forward (or Rewind)
mode, and repeat the operation.
When you find the desired scene, press the
STOP button and then the PLAY button to start
normal playback.
Notes:
l Sound is turned off during these searches.
l Some picture
notse
appears during these searches.
This
IS not a malfunction.
STILL
This function freezes the picture.
Press the STILL button
(0)
during playback. To
return to normal playback, press the STILL button
(0)
again, or press the PLAY button
(0).
SLOW
This function allows playback in slow
matron.
Press
the SLOW/FADER button during playback To return
to normal playback, press the PLAY button.

l To protect the
vrdeo
cassette, the
VIEWCAM
automattcally
returns to ordinary playback after about 5 minutes in
Stall
mode and about 40 seconds in Slow mode
l
The LCD monitor has a specral function that suppresses
ptcture
notse
during still or slow playback. However, when
the
VIEWCAM
is connected to a TV, noise may appear on
the TV screen during
Stall,
Slow or Search mode.
