2.13 Import (Packing box size)
The instrument comes in the packing box of following size and excessive tilting is not allowed. Please prepare for it by
checking the following points:
- Availability/non-availability of an elevator
- Carry-in route
- Carry-in equipments (forklift) if necessary, etc.
Size : 1400 (W) x 900 (D) x 820 (H)
Weight : about 160 kg
(Only instrument) : about 140 kg
2.14 Installation to Existing System (HPLC, LCMS)
The result of sensitivity test (S/N test) performed at the time of standard installation may not satisfy the criteria under some
conditions and performance history of the existing system (i.e. when LCMS is installed to an existing HPLC or when APCI /
DUIS / Micro ESI is installed to an existing LCMS). For this reason, the S/N test in the cases as above is to be performed
without a set reference value. Make sure to explain about this to the customer before starting the installation.
However, cleaning the existing HPLC and/or replacement of its consumable parts may regain the sensitivity as good as new
units. So, apply these treatments as far as possible.
