2 Installation Conditions

Pre-Installation Requirements

(Installation of Micro System / Micro ESI 8060)
When installing the Micro LC unit (LC-Mikros, CTO-Mikros) on LCMS 8045/8050 / Micro ESI 8060, the following
space is required. A space of about 10 mm from the upper end of the SI door top of LCMS is necessary. A space of
75 mm is required from the left side of the LCMS main unit.
* For details of Micro LC system, refer to the installation manual of Micro LC unit.
* We are assuming a micro LC system including LC-Mikros and CTO-Mikros. Contact us for other LC system
configurations.
2.7.1 Connecting to the Rotary Pump
Use the rotary pump specified by Shimadzu. Using a different pump may impair the intended performance of the
instrument. It may also cause an accident
