6.3 Grounding
Observe the following:
• Provide class D grounding. (Grounding resistance: 100 Ω or less)
• Provide independent grounding when possible.
• If independent grounding cannot be provided, employ "Shared grounding" shown below.
• Bring the grounding point close to the programmable controller as much as possible so that the ground cable can be
shortened.
(1) Independent grounding: Recommended
(2) Shared grounding: Allowed
(3) Common grounding: Not allowed
