Power supply
Any power supply connected to the PP500 must conform to CE regulations regard-
ing safety and EMC. This includes conformity to SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage)
according to EN 60950-1. The supply line fuse shall, independent of host system,
not in any case exceed 10A.
Cable recommendations
The cables used for this product shall be screened and not exceed 30 m. E g the
Belden 9534/9538, Li-YCY.
The screen shall be connected to any screen connector (if this exist) in a door con-
troller - otherwise to the back plate of the PP500.
Note! - Due to the risc of potential differences in the protection earth system of
buildings, only one (1) connection to earth shall be made in a system.
