4.3 Starting the software
Once you have copied the diagnostics tool, you can start SIMATIC RF-DIAG by double-
clicking on the "SIMATIC_RF-DIAG.exe" file. After starting the software, the user interface of
the diagnostics tool appears:
The 3 areas of the software user interface
① Status area
② Reader-specific functionalities
③ Protocol area
