The Rack PC has a bus board with seven PCI slots, one ISA slot and two shared
ISA /PCI slots. Ten expansion cards can simultaneously be installed to ISA
specification (Rev. 3.1) and PCI specification (Rev. 2.0). All the PCI slots can be
used as masters. Only 5V PCI modules are operable.
The power supply to the expansion cards is effected via the connection of the bus
board with the motherboard and additionally directly from the power supply unit.
The connection to the motherboard is effected by a gold-plated direct connector of
the type ‘PCI, 64 bit’. All the necessary bus signals (ISA and PCI) are applied to
this connector. The following table shows the connector assignment.
