4.6 Removal and Installation of the Power Supply Unit

Warning
Only qualified personnel is authorized to exchange the power supply unit.
1. Open the system housing as described in Section 4.1.
2. Remove the data and power supply cables of the drives, the motherboard and
the bus board and note down their assignment.
3. Remove the cable tie which fixes the power supply cables in the housing.
4. Undo the six fixing screws (TORX T10) of the power supply mounting plate.
5. Pull the power supply unit out of the housing to the rear until you can access
the power supply cable of the disk drive.
6. Remove the power supply cable of the disk drive.
7. Undo the four screws on the mounting plate.
8. Proceed in reverse order to fit the new power supply unit.
