3.3 Parameterization
This chapter describes the parameterization to create the example project yourself.
Especially if the configuration that you require with respect to hardware and
component parameterization differs from the one provided in the application
example, this chapter can provide helpful support for parameterization.
Requirement
• The software components are installed on your source system in accordance
with Table 1-1.
• You have created a new project in TIA Portal or opened a project to work on.
Default values
If you add a device from the hardware catalog to the project in TIA Portal,
parameters will be assigned by default. This will be used in the steps below.
Parameters and settings in this application example that do not have to be
changed from the default values are omitted below.
Configuration in TIA Portal offers some freedom. The following parameterization
represents one possible solution. Other more or less similar actions can achieve
the same goal.
