4.3 Types of Control using the Terminals

Note
The automatic restart function (P1210) is disabled in the factory default setting. If
the automatic restart function is required, the user must specifically enable this
function. For details, please see the Parameter List..
The different types of control are enabled using parameter P0727 and selecting
one of the following options:
Default value:
¾ P0727 = 0: Siemens standard control (ON/OFF1, REV)
Other settings:
¾ P0727 = 1: 2-wire control (ON_FWD, ON_REV)
¾ P0727 = 2: 3-wire control (FWDP, REVP, STOP)
¾ P0727 = 3: 3-wire control (ON_PULSE, REV, OFF1/HOLD)
When any of the control functions are selected using P0727, the settings for the
digital inputs (P0701 to P0704) are redefined as shown in Table 4-1 below.
