Connecting SSI encoders
For SSI encoders, the encoder power supply is designed for 24 V / 350 mA. The supply is
switched on or switched off in the software (the encoder is parameterized in Starter). The
output is short-circuit proof, and is directly supplied from the module with 24 V. When a
short-circuit occurs, a diagnostic signal is
not
output.
