IPsec connection pa-
rameters
Can only be configured in the "IPsec" connection mode.
Authentication:
CA Cert: CA certificate
The certificate of the certification authority is used for au-
thentication. You specify the certificate in "Certificate".
Certificate
Select the CA certificate for the IPsec connection. Only import-
ed certificates can be selected
Local ID
Enter the local ID. Necessary when the VPN tunnel partner
evaluates the entry.
Remote ID
Enter the ID of the VPN tunnel partner. Necessary when the
VPN tunnel partner evaluates the entry.
Click the "Continue" button.

Using the local subnet
If the subnet downstream from the device also needs to be exported, enable the check
box "Connected local subnets".
Enter the following connection parameters as well:

Meaning
Local IP address IP address at which the device in the remote subnet can be
reached.
Network mask
The network mask of the remote subnet.
Device is a network
gateway
The device in the remote subnet is a network gateway.
When enabled, "Yes" is displayed for network gateway in the ta-
bles.
Click the "Add" button. The IP address of the remote subnet is displayed in the table.
To change an entry, you must first delete this entry and then create a new one. To
delete, click on
in the actions.
