Manual 7SJ45 7SJ45 with relay output - device configured by a jumper
C53000-K1174-C001-7 55
If you set a value below the minimum setting, the minimum
setting applies (see Note on page 29).
If you set a value above the maximum setting, the maximum
setting applies.
Parameters marked with "∞“ allow to deactivate the associated
protection stage. To do so, set all switches to “on”position.
The setting ranges for the parameters can be found in the
Technical Data (2.11) or on the indications on the front panel.
Settings changes that are made after power on are not applied at
once but only indicated by the "RUN" LED blinking green.
The LED stops blinking if the original settings are restored.
If parameters are changed, the functionality is retained until the
"ENTER"-button is pushed or parameters are transmitted to the
device after restart. The "RUN" LED shines green.
2.8 7SJ45 with relay output - device configured by a
jumper
The trip circuit can be adapted to the system connecting a jumper
to the p.c.b. (see Figure 2-5).
The jumper X30 controls a surge arrester in parallel to the NC
contact of the trip relay (see Figure 2-8). This safety measure is
only required if the 7SJ45 is used in combination with auxiliary
trip transformers (X30 in position 2-3).
This setting is pre-defined in the factory.
If the tripping is to be performed by means of an existing auxiliary
voltage, set jumper X30 to position 1-2.
