WARNING
For detection of empty sensor the min. conductivity must always be >50 μS/cm and the
max. length of the electrode cable when remote mounted is 50 meters (164 ft). Special
cable must be used!
For 19" Ex applications with safety barriers special cable cannot be used and the empty
pipe function can therefore not be used. For these applications 25 meters (82 ft) of cable
can be used in order to obtain 0.25% and 50 meters (164 ft) to obtain 0.5%.
For remote MID installations the max. cable length is 3 meters (9.8 ft). For other CT
application standard requirements are applicable.
