3.12 Weather protection cover (optional)
For installations with intense exposure to solar radiation a weather protection cover is
suggested to reduce heating of the electronics.
The cover is opened and closed by operating the quarter-turn swing handle with a key supplied
or
a 6 mm / 0.2" inside square key. To prevent unintentional opening of the cover, make sure that
the closing mechanism engages when closing the cover.

CAUTION!
Ensure that there is an electrostatically conductive connection between the signal converter
respectively the flow sensor and the protection cover when removing or installing it.
When removing and re-installing the protection cover use thread locking adhesive that secures
sc
rews to prevent loosening due to shock and vibration.
