Changing fuel consumption calibration values
If the fuel consumption gauge on the consumption display unit
• indicates that fuel consumption was less than it actually was, you must reduce the fuel
consumption calibration value.
• indicates that fuel consumption was more than it actually was, you must increase the fuel
consumption calibration value.
If several vehicles of the same type are fitted with the same type of engine, a calculated calibration
value can be used for all these vehicles.
1 Press the key and the key at the same time to switch to the unit
settings.
The first menu item 86(U6HW83 will be displayed automatically.
2 Select the6\6W(6HW83>&$/6\6W(>FUEL CAL>&RQ6W)8(/(-> 27) menu item
(-
> 31).
If PIN protection has already been activated, you will automatically be asked
to enter the system PIN number in the place indicated (-> 24).
3 Instead of the value currently set, e. g. &2Q6W, enter the new calibration value
required for the vehicle.
Values are entered in the same way as PIN numbers (-> 24).
4 Confirm the entry using the key.
