Automatic data server connection can be selected for each hour of the day
when the C12 is in monitoring mode. The connection schedule is set up in
Remote control in INFRA Net, and is saved in the configuration file
‘schedule.txt’, see section 4.1.1.
5.4.2. Manual Data Server Connection
A data server connection can be performed manually by pressing button
B1 for three seconds. This can be done both monitoring modes. When in
monitoring off mode, this method can be used to communicate with the
INFRA Net Remote module as described in section 5.7.
If configured, an UPLOAD SMS will be sent both at automatic and
manual data server connection.!
5.5. Instrument Power Off
When the C12 instrument is in monitoring off mode, the power can be
manually turned off by pressing B2 button for three seconds.
At start-up, the instrument is automatically turned off after 60 seconds if
no activity has taken place. If an activity has taken place, e.g. a button has
been pressed, this timeout will be increased to 12 minutes. Power off is
indicated by a short flash of all three LEDs.
Note! Power off may be inhibited by internal activities. The reasons can
be:
• The instrument is in monitoring mode (Reg LED flashing).
• The instrument is busy with GSM communication, or data server
connection activity.
• The instrument is in the middle of a transition into monitoring off
mode – on procedure caused by a remote parameter change.
Any such activity must be allowed to finish before power off can be
performed.
Note! Power off may also be inhibited by external charging (see section
2.6).
