Difference is more than 20 minutes. A service SMS will be sent
in this case.!
Round-trip delay between C12 and NTP server is more than 3s.!
Log files will show information of all synchronization attempts.!
6.3. Daylight Saving Time
Transition between daylight saving time (DST) and standard time (STD)
can be setup to be performed automatically, which is recommended. It can
be used without time synchronization through Internet, but this is not
recommended.
When the C12 detects a transition between e.g. daylight-saving time
(DST) to standard time (STD), it will:
1. Turn OFF monitoring.
2. Perform the transition.
3. Turn ON monitoring.
To set up the automatic function, two files have to be configured:
tz.txt, points out the file name of the time zone rules file.
The time zonerules file, normally named like Region__City.tzinfo
(e.g. Europe__Stockholm.tzinfo).
Some commonly used tzinfofiles can be downloaded from the INFRA
support page for manual setup, but the recommendation is to make all
these settings through INFRA Net.
Note! New C12 may have factory settings of the clock and time zone,
which not fully matches your local standards. Use INFRA Net to alter
these settings.
