5.6. Power Lost
If the batteries run empty in the normal way, the monitoring will stop at
approx. 3.00V and the C12 will then be turned off. Note that the C12 will
not startup automatically from this mode if, e.g. a charger is connected, or
the batteries are replaced ‘one by one’, because the battery voltage must
go below 2.7V to ensure an automatic startup at 3.3V.
If power was accidentally lost while in monitoring mode (e.g. if the
batteries were inadequately removed), C12 will restart monitoring when
fresh batteries (>3.3V) are reinserted.
Monitoring will restart automatically when the C12 is started with the B1
button after an automatic transition into monitoring off mode (or
accidental power-off).
5.7. Remote Control
Note! For full functionality of the Remote-control system, the C12 must
be in monitoring mode. This is because the C12 does not communicate
automatically when in monitoring off mode. Also note that the Remote-
control system module is a part of INFRA Net.
At every data server connection, the C12 sends a status file to the sub
directory remoteon the data server. The status file includes most of the
status and configurable parameters from the C12 instrument. By using the
Remote part of the Web application INFRA Net, the operator can see all
status and settings, and request changes of most of the parameters.
When the operator has signed the requested changes, INFRA Net will put
a control file, including the requested changes, back on the remote
directory of the data server.
At the next connection, the C12 will read the control file and process it. If
in monitoring mode, change of some of the parameters (e.g. the threshold
level), will cause the instrument to enter monitoring off mode, then
change the parameters, and restart monitoring again. Other parameters
(e.g. the data server connection schedule), can be changed without a
monitoring stop/restart procedure.
