Put on control unit
u Align pin (1) with recess (2).
u Put on the control unit.

Fastening the control unit (VARINLINE
®
connection)
u Attach control unit (1) to the photometer with clamp
ring (2).

Filling the control unit
u Fill control unit (1) with test medium via filling funnel
(3).
u Make sure that the level indicator (2) is filled up to
approx. half.
Bubble formation can be prevented by filling slowly.
Residual bubbles can escape by rocking the unit back
and forth or by squeezing the hose quickly.

Carry out calibration check
u Open the Settings\ «Recalibration» menu.
u Select the channel to be calibrated.
u Check or enter the nominal value.
l Adjust control unit with solid reference (C1, C2): «Nominal value») must match the one on the control unit.
l Adjustment with formazine (C1, C2): Enter the value of the formazine solution in the «Nominal value» menu.
l Zero point adjustment (C3, C4) with ultrapure water: Enter value 0 in the «Nominal value» menu.
u Press [initiate..].
ð Calibration check is started.
ð Calibration check successful OK.
u Repeat the procedure for each channel.
Calibration check not OK (adjustment fault)
u Check for correct installation of the control unit.
u Check window contamination on the sensor head.
u Check test medium for air bubbles.
