5.6 CODEMAKER CARD MANAGEMENT
The CODEMAKER function is used to create a
new data card wi th user d efinable cu tting
parameters.
To enable the function press F4 from the initial
screen.
A display will appear with the list of user created
data cards (i f the ma chine is new the display is
blank).
The list of functions included with CODEMAKER
is represented by icons on the left.
• Create new data card (F1)
• Edit a data card (F2)
• Delete a data card (F3)
• Copy a data card (F4 then F1)
• Copy a SILCA data card (F4 then F2)
NOTE: creating of new cards is allowed for
two key types:
-SINGLE side
- DOUBLE SYMMETRICAL side
• Creating new data Card
Step 1
Assign a name (descrip tion) to th e new d ata
card. All the data on the ca rd, except th e card
number, can be edited.
Once the values have been entered press F1 to
continue. The display will show:
Step 2
This display screen can be used to edit:
• Type of cut (see chap. 5.4)
• Cutter (set automatically in relation to the type
of cut)
• Angle (can be set for types of cut different from
“V”)
When editing is complete, press F1 to continue.
Press F2 to go back to the previous screen.
