5.7.2 CALIBRATE CUTTERS
From the Gauging menu press F2 to enable the
cutter gauging function.
Select the U0 1W standard cutter a nd press
ENTER.
The display will show:
• Press F1 to get positive values (+).
• Press F2 to get negative values (-).
• Press F3 to cancel the set adjustments.
Adjust depth Y (-30 to +30 hundredths of a
mm):
- Y positive value: raise the cut
- Y negative value: lower the cut
ATTENTION:if the original Silca U01W
cutter is replaced with one that is NOT
original or has been sharpened, it will be
necessary to repeat clamp calibration and
also gauge all the optional cutters.
5.7.3 CALIBRATE ADAPTERS
From the Ga uging menu press F3 to enable the
Adapter gauging function.
Select the a dapter to b e cali brated a nd pre ss
ENTER.
The display will show:
• Press F1 to get positive values (+).
• Press F2 to get negative values (-).
• Press F3 to cancel the set adjustments.
Adjust depth Y (-30 to +30 hundredths of a
mm):
- Y positive value : raise the cut

Y negative value: lower the cut
Adjust spaces X (-30 to +30 hundredths of a
mm):
- X positive value : move cut to the rig ht of the
stop
- X negative value : move cut to the left of the stop
