7.11 PHOTOCELL REPLACEMENT
REPLACING THE X AXIS PHOTOCELL
1) turn the machine off and unplug it from its power supply cable.
2)
remove the back panel (chap.7.8 "Access to back Compartment").
3)
unscrew the 2 (G) screws that secure the photocell card and remove .
4)
disconnect the (G5) photocell cable (fig. 64).
5)
connect the photocell cable to the new photocell card .
6)
replace the photocell in position securing it with the (G) screws .
7)
remount the back panel .
8)
plug the machine back in and turn it on .
9)
proceed with machine settings (chap.5.8.7 "MACHINE ZERO POINTS", page 46).

REPLACING THE Y AXIS PHOTOCELL
1) turn the machine off and unplug it from its power supply cable.
2) disconnect the (J1) Y axis cable from the carriage (fig. 65).
3) remove the Y axis ca rriage cover by u nscrewing the 3 (B5) locking screws and p ull the cover in the
direction shown in fig. 65.
4) disconnect the (J2) photocell cable and (J) sensor cable (fig. 65).
5) unscrew the 2 (K) screws that hold the photocell card and remove it from the carriage.
6) place the new photocell card in the carriage and tighten the 2 (K) supporting screws.
7) reconnect both the photocell and sensor cables.
8) remount the Y axis protective cover.
9) connect the (J1) Y axis cable back on the carriage.
10)
plug the machine back in and turn it on .
11)
proceed with machine settings (chap.5.8.7 "MACHINE ZERO POINTS", page 46).
