Cleaning and care
WARNING – RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Always remove the plug from the mains power socket before cleaning the
appliance.
Under no circumstances should the appliance be immersed in liquids!
This could result in a potentially fatal electric shock, and the appliance
could be damaged.
WARNING – RISK OF BURNS!
Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning it.
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
When cleaning the components, do not use aggressive or abrasive clean-
ing agents or materials such as scouring milk or steel wool. These could
damage the upper surface of the appliance!
To simplify cleaning, dismantle the deep fat fryer:
1) Open the cover over the permanent metal filter and remove it.
2) Open the appliance lid. Push a rod or similar into the holes on the hinge
mountings on the rear of the appliance and pull the lid up and out of the
hinge mountings at the same time
3) Remove the frying basket .
The frying basket can be cleaned in the dishwasher. It is dishwasher-safe.
However, remove the handle beforehand.
