- When you are not using the blade assembly, push the blade
guard on to the blades.
- With all discs, when removing blockages and removing the
unprocessed ingredients on them, make sure that you do not
touch the blades.

Prior to the replacement of parts or attachments which move
when in operation, the device must be switched off and discon-
nected from the mains.

The working tools (e.g. the blade assembly, the grating and cut-
ting discs) continue to spin after being switched off. Wait for the
device to come to a standstill before unlocking and opening the
lid.

Improper use of the device may result in injuries.
~
This device is not intended to be operated using an external timer
or a separate remote control system.
~
If the power cable of this device should become damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer's customer ser-
vice department or a similarly qualified specialist in order to avoid
any hazards.

Depending on the function, the device is intended for the follow-
ing maximum operating times without interruption:
- Blade assembly: maximum 3 minutes
- Mixer assembly: maximum 3 minutes
- Whisking disc: maximum 6 minutes
- French fries disc: maximum 2 minutes
- Grater and cutting discs: maximum 2 minutes
- Citrus press: maximum 7 minutes
- Mini crusher: maximum 2 minutes
After this, the device must remain switched off until it has cooled
down to room temperature.

Clean all parts and surfaces that come into contact with food be-
fore using the device for the first time (see “Cleaning and servic-
ing the device” on page 36).
