Reset to factory defaults
This option returns every setting in the RS90S to factory default
values.
However, MMSI settings and entries in your buddy list are preserved.
1. Select MENU → RESET.
2. Select YES to confirm and reset the radio, or NO to exit without
resetting.
Backlight level
This option sets the brightness of the LCD screen and keypad.
1. Select MENU → BACKLIGHT → LEVEL.
2. Use the ▲ and ▼ keys to set the level required.
3. Press [OK] to enable the setting and return to the menu.
¼ Notes:
• The DISTRESS key backlight cannot be turned down.
• If the backlight setting is set to level 0 (off), the backlight will
automatically turn ON at level 1 if the radio detects any DSC activity,
or any buttons are pressed. The backlight will return to level 0 (off)
after 10 seconds of inactivity.
