intothewater.Youcandisablethetransmissionaltogether,setittooperateasfastas
possible,orselectatimeinterval.
Context
OncepingingisOn,useTransmissionModetochoose
howoftentheSU90shalltransmit(ping).Useitto
controlthebehaviourofthetransmissions(pinging).
•SinglePing:TheSU90transmits(pings)onlywhen
youselectthesymbolontherightsideofthebutton.
•Interval:TheSU90transmits(pings)withaxed
timeinterval.PingIntervalpermitsyoutochoose
thetime(inmilliseconds)betweeneachtransmission(ping).
•Maximum:TheSU90transmits(pings)asfrequentaspossible.
Procedure
1OpentheOperationmenu.
2SetOperationtoNormal.
3SetTransmissionModetoMaximum.
•Selectthesymbolontherightsideofthebuttontostartpinging.
•Selectthesymbolontheleftsidethebuttontostoppinging.
•Selectthemiddleofthebuttontoopenit.
IfyouchooseMaximum,theSU90willtransmit(ping)continuouslyandasoften
aspossible.Thisgivesyouthemaximumrefreshrate.Thetimebetweeneach
ping(thepingrate)dependsmainlyonthecurrentrange.Insomesystems,alow
performanceProcessorUnitand/oraslowharddiskmayreducethepingrate.
HowfastyourProcessorUnitcommunicateswithexternalperipheralsmayalso
haveaneffectonthepingrate.
