candrawthesewithaline.ThislineisdrawnafterthevesselsymbolintheSU90
presentation,andvisualizesyourpastmovements.TheMinuteMarkersfunctionadds
markerstothelinetoindicatethetravelleddistanceforeachminute.Theminute
markersareshownassmallcirclesonthevessel’strackline.
TodrawthelineusethesettingsontheTrackLinepage.TheTrackLinepageis
locatedintheDisplayOptionsdialogbox.TheDisplayOptionsdialogboxislocated
ontheDisplaymenu.

ThePlaceMarkerfunctionallowsyoutocreateamarkeratthecurrentpositionofthe
cursor.Eachmarkerisshownasasmalltrianglewithorwithoutashortidentifying
label.Usethisfunctiontocontrolifandhowthemarkersymbolsareshowninthe
currentlyactiveview.SelectApplytoallifyouwishtousethechosensettingin
alltheviewsintheSU90presentation.

Whenyoustarttargetorpositiontracking,amarkerisusedtoidentifytheobject.

Whenyoustartatargettrack,adedicatedmarkerisusedtoidentifytheobjectyouare
tracking.Whenenabled,TrackHistorydrawsalineaftereachtrackedtarget.Theline
identiesthepreviouspositionsofthetarget.Thisfunctionaddsmarkerstothetrack
history.Theseindicatethetarget’stravelleddistanceforeachminute.
•TrackHistory
Whenyoustartatargettrack,adedicatedmarkerisusedtoidentifytheobjectyouare
tracking.Eachmarkerisshownasasmallcirclewithorwithoutashortidentifying
text.Inmostcases,thetargetwillmoveandcontinuouslychangeitspositionrelative
toyourownvessel.Whenenabled,TrackHistorydrawsalineaftereachtracked
target.Thelineidentiesthepreviouspositionsofthetarget.Thisallowsyouto
manuallypredictitscurrentheading.
•SpeedVector
SpeedVectorshowsyouthepredictedcourseandspeedofthetrackedtarget.The
predictionisbasedontarget’scurrentmovements.Theestimateislimitedtoone
minute.
Theinformationisprovidedwithalineindicatingthetarget’scourse.Thelengthof
thelinereectsitsspeed.
