YoumustneversettheSU90tonormaloperationwhentheshipisindrydock.The
transducermaybedamagedifittransmitsinopenair.Topreventinadvertentuseofthe
SU90,pulloutthemainsplugontheProcessorUnitwheneveryourvesselisindrydock.
Additionalprecautionarymeasurersshouldbeconsidered.

YoumustneverturnofftheSU90bymeansoftheon/offswitchontheProcessorUnit.
WhenyoudonotusetheSU90,turnitoffwiththePowerbuttonontheOperatingPanel.
IfthetransducerisloweredwhenyouturnofftheSU90,itisautomaticallyretractedto
itsupperposition.

IfyouturnofftheSU90bymeansoftheon/offswitchontheProcessorUnityoumay
damagethesoftwareandtheinterfacesettingsusedtocommunicatewithexternal
devices.

Atransducermustalwaysbehandledasadelicateinstrument.Incorrectactionsmay
damagethetransducerbeyondrepair.Aphysicalblowtothetransducerfacemayeasily
damageoneormoreelements.Observethesetransducerhandlingrules:
Donotactivatethetransducerwhenitisoutofthewater.
Donothandlethetransducerroughlyandavoidimpacts.
Donotexposethetransducertodirectsunlightorexcessiveheat.
Donotdamagetheouterprotectiveskinofthetransducer.
