theship’shullwhentheSU90shallbeused.ThisisakeyfunctionalityoftheSU90.
Itisveryimportantthatthehoist/lowerfunctionistestedbeforetheSU90isputto
operationaluse.Inordertotestthelowerandhoistfunctionalityofthehullunit,two
tasksmustbedonesimultaneously.Thesetasksaredoneinthesonarroom.
Prerequisites
TheSU90isinstalledasspeciedintheSU90Installationmanual.TheSU90systemis
turnedonandoperatesnormally.Neithertoolsnorinstrumentsarerequired.

Certainstepsinthetwoproceduresarelocationspecic.Thestepsmarked[Bridge]
aredoneonthebridge.

Intheeventofproblemsormalfunctions:
1LocatetheMotorProtectingSwitch(S301).
2SettheswitchtopositionOFF .

Procedure
1[Bridge]Makesurethatyouhavesufcientwaterdepthbelowthekeelbefore
youlowerthetransducer.
2LocatetheMotorProtectingSwitch(S301).SettheswitchtopositionON.
3LocatetheHoist/LowerSwitch(S302).SettheswitchtopositionREMOTE.
