Purpose
ThisistheHarbourAcceptanceTestfortheSimradSU90Fish-ndingsonar.
ThepurposeofthisHarbourAcceptanceTestistoverifythattheSU90systemprovided
tothevesseliscorrectlyinstalled,andfullyfunctional.ItisthenreadyfortheSea
AcceptanceTest.Whenallthetaskshavebeendone,thereportformmustbesignedby
therelevantparties.Thecompleteddocumentthenbecomestheofcialreport.
Personnelandlocation
Successfulcompletionofthetestrequiresqualiedandexperiencedtestengineers
and/ortechnicians.
ThisHarbourAcceptanceTestisdoneonboardthevessel,alongsidethequay.The
testisdonebypersonnelfromKongsbergMaritime.Allpersonnelmusthavegood
knowledgeoftheproductand/ormodule(s)athand.
ArepresentativefromanauthorizeddealerordistributorcandotheHarbourAcceptance
TestonbehalfofKongsbergMaritime.
Representativesfromtheclientand/orenduserarenormallypresenttowitnessthe
testandresults.
Aswithallassemblyandtestproceduresrelatedtoadvancedtechnicaland/orelectronic
equipment,theskilloftheoperatorisvitaltoasuccessfulcompletionofthetasks.The
onlywaytosecurehighqualityofourproductsisrstrateworkmanshipandhigh
professionalstandardsthroughouttheproductionchain.
Itisequallyimportantthatallmembersoftheproductionandtestcrewsshowinitiative,
andarewillingtosuggestimprovementstofunctionality,design,proceduresand
documents.Ifyoundamistakeinadocument,orndthatinformationismissing,
offerthisinformationtotheproperauthoritieswithoutfurtherdelay.Likewise,your
experienceasaskilledworkerisvaluable.Pleaseforwardanysuggestionstomake
