Threading the Machine
Raise the presser foot lifter. Press the needle up/down
button twice to raise the needle to its highest position.
Step 1
Pass the thread up through the guide on the thread
guide bar from behind.

Step 2
Pass the thread through the machine thread guide.

Step 3
Hold the upper thread with both hands as shown
and slip it under the thread guide plate.

Step 4
Draw the thread toward you and pass it into
the left thread guide. Draw the thread along the
right channel.

NOTE
This is a good time to make sure that the thread is
feeding smoothly off the spools and the thread caps
are secure.
