SITA Messtechnik GmbH – Operating Instructions SITA ConSpector
8 Maintenance and Troubleshooting
The maintenance of the instrument is limited to
• the regular cleaning of the immersion probe and beaker between and after the measurement of
bath samples,
• the regular instrument check as a blank measurement in the beaker and, if necessary, on the
op-tional fluorescence standards (section 8.1),
• as well as cleaning the beaker, glass rod and limiter (section 8.2) if the instrument test or visual
inspection is not passed.
If necessary, clean the housing with a soft, moderately damp cloth or computer cleaning cloths.
Never use corrosive solvents or hard-fibre towels because they leave scratches on the display and
the light conductor.
Keep the sliding areas of the stand and the device holder clean to ensure an easy adjustment.
