Rear seats
Fold the backrests forward
Before folding down

Insert the rear headrests as far as they will go or
remove them.
›
Adjust the position of the front seats so that they
are not damaged by the folded backrests.
›
On vehicles with a net partition, roll them into the
housing, unlock the left and then the right seat
back.
›
Pull the outer seat belt to the side trim.
Folding forwards from the passenger compart-
ment
›
Press the release han-
dle and fold the seat
back forward.
Folding forwards from the boot
›
Pull on the lever.
The seat back is un-
locked and partially fol-
ded forward.
Fold back
›
Pull the outer seat belt
to the side trim.
›
Fold back the seat
back.
The release handle must
audibly click into place.
›
Check the locking of
the seat back. The pin

Hold the safety button
and move the support
in the desired direc-
tion.

Move the headrest in
the desired direction.
When moving down-
wards, the safety but-
ton must be kept
pressed.
Folding side bolsters of the rear headrest
The folded side cheeks
reduce an uncontrolled
head movement side-
ways, e.g. while sleeping.
›
Set the headrest in the
first extended position.
›
Fold the side bolsters
of the headrest for-
ward.
