Configure new device
1. In the system configuration field, select Set up devices now >>.
☑ You are forwarded to the tab Overview of new devices in the menu Configuration > Device overview
(see Section11.2.2, page54).
2. Select the required device. Then, in the Configuration column, select either the to add the new device to the
installation or the to add the new device to the installation as a replacement device.
☑ The configuration wizard opens and guides you through the further steps.
☑ When all new devices have been configured, the System Configuration field on the System Monitoring tab will no
longer be displayed.
When all new devices have been configured, the exclamation mark next to the menu item System Monitoring should
also disappear.
Delete unwanted exclamation mark:
If you are bothered by the exclamation mark next to the System monitoring menu item, which is there to remind you
of this pending action, you can delete it by going to Configuration > Device overview and removing all newly
detected devices that have not yet been configured (see Section11.2.2, page54).
If the exclamation mark is still displayed next to the System Monitoring menu item, this indicates that either the
data reception or the inverter comparison has a communication problem.
14.2.5 Filter and confirm messages in the system logbook
In the upper area of the page PV system logbook there are different fields to filter the messages that are listed in the
following table. This filtering only allows you to call up certain messages.
You can confirm messages in order to mark them as read. This will help you to differentiate between old and new
messages.
Filtering Messages:
1. Select PV System Logbook in the page and menu selection.
2. To filter messages, set one or more of the following filters:
Input field or drop-

Explanation
Go to The date for the current day is preset. With the arrows on the left and right you can go back
any number of days or proceed again.
In the table in the column Time all messages up to and including this day are shown.
Type The following message types are available:
• Information message
• Warning
• Event message
• Error
• Other
To display messages of a specific type, activate the appropriate checkbox(es).
The desired messages are displayed in the column Type with the respective symbol and fur-
ther explained in the column Description.
